Die cast cabinets being completely #machine-made have the highest precision with
auto fit module #mechanism which eliminates the need for the #engineer to do any
adjustments for alignment.
#Flatness:
The flatness of the #screen
provides a #seamless feel to an LED display. A complete flat screen can be
achieved through an auto fit module mechanism. With Xtreme Media’s Vega series
a very high cabinet precision can be achieved within hours. Vega series
contains die-cast #Aluminium material which not only makes the cabinet precision
accurate but also makes it faster. This is difficult and time-consuming to
achieve with mild #steel (MS) cabinets, which are generally used in any LED #video #wall. It is nearly impossible to achieve with cabinet less LED screens
due to the inherent unevenness of the #metal back frame.
#Fire #Hazard:
Cabinet less design not only
affects the aesthetics of LED video walls but also poses safety threats. Since
the #power #supplies and cables are directly #mounted on the plywood, any short #circuit in the #system will cause a fire hazard. In MS and die-cast cabinet
design each cabinet has an #electrical #terminal #block. In the case of any short
circuit, this internal terminal block is first affected and the power to the
cabinet is disconnected. This ensures there are no fire escalated or safety
hazards present.
Quality Control:
Cabinet less design is nothing,
but modules directly installed without any #framework, the various components in
the cabinet less screen do not go through quality control tests. Failure points
like faulty modules, #power #supplies, #cables, #controllers, etc. can be
encountered only when the complete screen is installed at the client location.
These leaves a high margin of errors on-site and the overall installation time

Exposed To #Rodents, #Dust, And
Insects:
While installing cabinet less LED
video wall there is an open space between the plywood and the modules which carry
a risk of being exposed to #rats, #insects, etc. This increases the chance of
wires/cables being cut off and resulting in a short circuit. Over time, dust
can accumulate inside the power supplies resulting in increased failures.

The aluminium body of die-cast
cabinet enables faster dissipation of #heat through the entire body. Even

certifications are provided for cabinets such as MS and die-cast and not for
